The cookery school ingredients are sourced from local producers, The Tipperary Producers Group, the Cloughjordan Village Community farm or from our own victorian walled in garden.
We teach cookery courses to many different groups of people - secondary school students, bespoke adult classes, hen and stag parties, primary school tours, corporate and team building groups, respite groups and we even up-skill chefs
At Cloughjordan House Cookery School we can tailor a hands on cookery class to suit your group on what ever theme you would like.

Testimonials from our guests
- “ Sarah has created something special at her cookery school at Cloughjordan House, superb, wholesome food in wonderful surroundings” - Richard Corrigan Bentleys London
- "First up thanks for the lovely stay. Both Dee and I had a great time both in the cookery school and just in general. It was great fun and we learnt some interesting recipes which we plan on trying out once we have a weekend at home. We also must say that for us, apart from a good cookery class and a beautiful stately home, a large part of the charm of Cloughjordan comes from the residents. You have a lovely and welcoming family and I wouldn't underestimate the importance of that for guests. We loved the ambiance of it."

- "My sister and I went to Cloughjordan House last Friday night and attended the cookery class on the Saturday morning, what a wonderful time we had.Sarah greeted us when we arrived and showed us to our room which was beautiful. She told us a little about the house and area. We explored for the evening had something to eat and relaxed for the night. Cloughjordan House is the perfect 'chill out' spot. The following morning after a wonderful breakfast cooked by Sarah and served by Peter who gave us a rundown on the house and the connection with Glenisk we headed off to the cookery school for our class with Colleen. We cooked a beautiful lunch which we all tucked into with relish. Colleen was great we learned a lot from her and she is such a lovely girl and has a very relaxed way with people. Thank you again"
