Located in the heart of Ireland, the peaceful setting of Cloughjordan House Cookery School, Co. Tipperary is ideal for a hands on cookery class using the finest of locally produced ingredients.

The beauty of Cloughjordan House Cookery School is how it is intimately designed in the Coach House alongside the main house, and so has a cosy, welcoming feel. The centrepiece of the kitchen is a large island, so class participants work together in a group environment. Classes give everyone an opportunity to chat about food, cooking and eating… among other things!

Adult classes are generally run on a Saturday from 10am until 3pm approximately, and finish with a lunch of everything prepared in class. You don’t need to bring a thing but yourself!

We teach cookery courses to many different groups of people - secondary school students, bespoke adult classes, hen and stag parties, kids birthday parties, corporate and team building and  respite groups. For groups, classes can be designed and catered to your needs, just call us to discuss.

Weekend Cookery Courses

All classes are hands-on, so you try everything for yourself under the watchful guide of our chefs.
Classes range from bread, pastry and cake baking, to entertaining, seasonal cookery and special diets. Everything we prepare is focused around fresh and where possible home grown seasonal ingredients. Our walled garden provides most of our vegetables, and house reared pigs our pork.
