The Tailored Approach

We take a fully tailored approach to our wedding menus which means each couple has as much input as they want into what their guests will enjoy.  Our goal is to be flexible and accommodating.  Our staff are experienced, innovative and always up for a challenge.  No two weddings are ever quite the same at Cloughjordan House and our Bridal Parties always leave with the sense of having been more than just guests.  For one magical day or weekend, they will have lived and celebrated in classic Irish country-house style.

The House Party Vibe

We love opening our doors and home to couples and their families and pride ourselves on creating a premium ‘house-party’ atmosphere for our guests while allowing our couple’s true personality to shine through.

The Argentinian Asado

Our Argentinian inspired ‘Asado’ fire-pit room provides a total change of scenery on the day after your wedding. Guests are actively encouraged to cut loose and kick back in a relaxed and most importantly, fun, environment. The bar is open, the games are out and this casual space allows family and friends to really get to know each other and have the craic.

Barry & Caroline - October 2017

We were so happy with the way the weekend went and everybody we spoke to afterwards raved about the venue, the food and the warm atmosphere. I would personally like to say thanks to you Jessica for the way you helped us to prepare for the weekend. Your professionalism and positive approach meant that you were very easy to deal with. You were always extremely prompt in responding to any query or question I had. Along with yourself, both Peter and Sarah were always so warm and welcoming and my family in particular had very positive things to say about them both so well done all. Please pass on our compliments to the chefs for putting together such excellent food and a big thank you to everyone else involved in making the day so special. From Seamus and his excellent bar staff, John who from start to finish was really easy to deal with, to Clem and all the waiting staff  (the number of people who commented about the breakfasts in particular). As a finishing touch to the whole weekend the planting of the tree certainly sealed it for us and I know Caroline's dad was particularly impressed by this.

Rachel & Rob - September 2017

Your help, guidance and patience during the planning process was so wonderful. You made it all so easy and stress-free, especially since we were so far away. Every member of the staff was so amazing on our big day. CJH will forever be one of our favourite places in the world. Thank you so much.'
