We got married October 2024 at CJH and we couldn't have been happier with our choice of venue. Everything from the staff to the grounds, the food and the house was absolutely amazing and our only wish is that we could go back and do it all again. CJH was our home for the weekend and the whole atmosphere was so chill and easygoing which is exactly what we were looking for. Planning the wedding from overseas, the whole team was so easy communicate with - they picked up on every detail and went the extra mile to make sure all of our requests were accommodated. All of our guests were blown away by the standard of the food, rooms and venue overall. Special thanks to Danielle and Lesley who helped us coordinate the whole day! If you are looking for a venue that has it all, then CJH is definitely the best!

We had our wedding in Cloughjordan House in September this year and we could not have asked for a better two days. From start to finish, the wedding exceeded our expectations. The venue and ground were gorgeous, making an incredible backdrop for our pictures. The food was exceptional and did not feel like typical "wedding food". I cannot say enough about the staff, they truly made the the wedding. Danielle (wedding coordinator) was fantastic to work with and was a huge support on the lead up to the wedding and over the weekend. The wait staff/bar staff/housekeeping/evening mgmt went above and beyond. All our guests were full of compliments and said it felt like a holiday. I cannot recommend Cloughjordan House enough as a wedding venue!

We had the most amazing wedding at Cloughjordan House which exceeded all of our expectations! If you want to get married in the most relaxed setting with the most amazing staff who are so on the ball with everything…then get married here!!
Our wedding coordinator Jessica was so responsive and helpful during the planning process. Nothing was too much trouble!! We had our wedding on the Saturday and day two on the Sunday and it really felt like it was our house for the weekend.
The venue itself is beautiful. Being able to host our entire day on site made it so easy and enjoyable for our guests, and most importantly stress free for us. The ceremony in the barn was an intimate and beautiful setting, and the reception on the lawn was a dream, surrounded by nature and really comfortable. In the evening, we moved into the marquee for dinner, where the atmosphere was warm, inviting and filled with a great ambience. Each area had its unique charm, and the transition between spaces felt effortless, adding to the magic of the day.
We had heard the food was great but we were blown away by the quality and standard of everything - from the canapés, to dinner, to breakfast and the BBQ on day 2 - all of our guest's said it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding!
The staff were exceptional from start to finish! Each team member was attentive, friendly and accommodating and our guests glasses were never empty! The entire team worked seamlessly together and Sarah the owner was chatting to our guests throughout the evening, which was a lovely touch.
Having the day two at the venue was probably my favourite part. It was so easy to wake up and get going for round two. Our guests enjoyed all parts of the grounds, from playing games on the lawn to chatting in the cosy snug outside the Asado. The laid back pace gave us all a chance to reminisce together on the memories from the night before, while also having the best craic and getting the party going again!
It made such a difference that so many of our guests were able to stay on site and all the rooms were lovely and comfortable.
It truly was the most magical weekend of our lives and if I could do it all again I wouldn’t change a thing. I cannot recommend this venue any more and I am so jealous of anyone who gets to experience a wedding here!!! Hopefully we will be back

From the very first contact they were an absolute pleasure to deal with. So professional, & so friendly. Every little detail is accounted for. It’s so well run and the whole team are amazing.

We can't thank Cloughjordan House more for the most incredible wedding day! From start to finish, it was so special.
We had the pleasure of working with Jessica, who was our wedding coordinator. From the minute we started working with her, she was calming, professional, and so friendly. We met the owners Julie and Stephen, and they, too, were so lovely and opened up their home to us with open arms.
One of the main reasons we chose CJH was because of how well regarded their food is and it did not disappoint! We had a call with the Head Chef, Claire Meeking, and she was so accommodating! We couldn't have asked for better food or service. The entire team was incredibly welcoming and lovely to work with.
The grounds are filled with flowers, vegetable patches and friendly animals. These all combine to give the house a cosy, warm atmosphere. We had our ceremony in the forest and were blessed with great weather. It was magical.
I highly recommend CJH to any engaged couples as a venue for a truly special wedding.

Where do we begin!
We fell in love with CJH from our first visit, and knew it was the one. We didn’t know exactly what we were looking for in terms of wedding venues, but once we saw the venue, we knew it was for us.
We had a night before meal in the Asado which was the best decision! We would definitely recommend all couples to do this if possible. It was extremely chilled, and allowed us to settle in before the big day. It also made life extremely easy for the bridal to get ready on the morning of the wedding. We didn’t have to start makeup and hair until 10.30!
All communication we had with CJH was seamless and professional. A big shout out to our wedding coordinator Jessica who couldn’t have done enough for us; we can’t say thank you enough for all the help she gave us, she was always on hand to answer any questions and everyone in attendance was hugely complimentary of her.
We have to give the food a specific mention. From the breakfast, to the canapés, the food was excellent, and everyone is still talking about it!
Everything about the few days was magical, and we can’t wait to hopefully return for someone else’s wedding in future !!

Planning a wedding can be such an overwhelming task but the team at Cloughjordan House strike an incredibly sweet balance of support and flexibility. They do so many things right at a fundamental level that if you were to go with their signature offering and add nothing, I honestly believe you and your guests would still be raving about it as a venue. As it happened, when we did have personal touches that we wanted to add to the running of the day or to the set-up of the venue, our wedding coordinator Jessica was nothing but open to letting us have that freedom. The atmosphere they've cultivated at Cloughjordan House is something special and it meant we were able to feel completely relaxed and just enjoy our wedding day knowing we were in the safest of hands - can't thank them enough, can't recommend them enough.

We had our destination wedding at Cloughjordan House in June 2024 and it was the BEST decision we made!!! We live in NYC but we were drawn to Ireland by our love of adventure, shared Irish heritage, and the country’s stunning nature/greenery, exceptional sites/experiences, amazing culture/traditions. We knew from the moment our planner presented Cloughjordan House to us that it was perfect for us with its laid back vibes and commitment to a wonderful guest experience, from charming on-site accommodation to the amazing food to the beautiful grounds. We loved that everything could be in one place, right in the heart of Ireland - welcome dinner, wedding ceremony and reception. We officially booked for June 2024 in January 2023 without visiting, but when we visited on a trip to Ireland in September 2023, we couldn't have been more blown away and assured that we made the right decision.
At every stage of planning - from when we were considering CJH, to when we booked, to the weeks/days leading up to our big day, to the welcome and wedding days themselves, and even after - the communication with the venue, specifically our coordinator Danielle, was extraordinary. Danielle was so on top of every detail and always quick to respond to any and every question we had. We knew we were in such good hands with Danielle, which was so important to us as a couple who were planning a destination wedding.
As for our festivities, they were DREAMY! We, along with all of our on-site guests, checked in on a Thursday afternoon. We used all the available rooms at CJH, which was so clutch and everyone LOVED being on-site. On Thursday night, we had a BBQ style welcome dinner in the Asado and it was the perfect day to kick off everything - the meal was delicious and the vibes were casual and cozy in the very best way. Friday was our wedding day and it was PERFECT! Danielle and the CJH team took such good care of us and our families/wedding parties as we were getting ready for our ceremony. The bridal suite was such a dream to get ready in with my mom and bridesmaids, and my husband had a fun time getting ready in the Cowshed with his guys. We were set to be the first forest ceremony of the season and the day’s forecast was iffy with passing rain showers, but Danielle and staff were so communicative while tracking the weather and we made the executive decision to move forward with the forest regardless, which was so rewarding - the rain stopped and sun came out right as I walked down the aisle. We highly recommend a forest ceremony if you can!!! It was the most naturally stunning backdrop for our ceremony. Honestly, the entire CJH grounds served as a breathtaking backdrop throughout the day, including our very sweet first look moments!
Our drinks reception on the lawn was divine with amazing canapes, lawn games, bathtub of beers, and more - plus our signature drinks were so tasty. The staff made sure we had a moment to ourselves for canapes and a couple’s cheers, which was so sweet. For dinner, the marquee is gorgeous and I love that you get to see the grounds around from inside. The food was immaculate (cannot emphasize this enough!!!!) and the service was superb. It was also so convenient having the bar right in the marquee for guests throughout the night. Following dinner, we danced the night away in the ballroom, which was gorgeous. Fueled by the delicious late night munchies and stellar bar offerings, we, along with our guests, had an extremely fun late night together celebrating our love <3
We cannot recommend Cloughjordan House enough for your wedding venue! It was everything we wanted and more! And we cannot wait to visit sometime in the future to enjoy a stay as guests! Endless thanks to everyone at CJH who played a role in bringing our dream wedding to life!

The staff here are second to none. Everyone we dealt with were so professional, organised and genuinely wanted the best for our day. The staff were all so helpful and amazing at what they do, especially Julie and our wedding coordinator Grace. We genuinely can not thank Jessica and the whole Cloughjordan team enough, you made Thursday and Friday so so magical and relaxed, nothing was too much of an ask. We knew the venue was incredible and that the food, service and atmosphere would be second to none but we are blown away by how amazing it actually was! The food was phenomenal. A lot of our guests told us it was the best wedding they have attended and I know by them that it was genuine and they were equally mesmerized by CJH and the attention to detail.

We had our wedding at Cloughjordan House and could not have asked for a better experience for our guests or any more from every member of staff. Nothing was too big an ask and it really struck a chord with us just how accommodating everyone was.
When we first viewed the venue, Mac (the dog) helped show us around and we just felt so at home. We loved the uniqueness of the various accommodation rooms, the ethos, the history and the little personal touches, and of course the cosiness of the Asado.
The buildup to our wedding was an absolute pleasure and we really enjoyed that everyone was relaxed but very much on top of everything required.
We had our ceremony in the woodshed and it was just perfect, we had the most incredible day as a couple but nothing could have prepared us for the constant lovely praise our guests shared with us! One described it as a holiday, another described it as an extravaganza and another as a festival of love and craic. The food was constantly complimented and everyone couldn’t get over the consistent quality of each dish served, the breakfast is also next level!
Cloughjordan House is a very special venue and we truly cannot recommend it enough. If we ever renew our vows we know where we are going!

We wanted to touch base and say a massive thank you for everything in the lead up to and on the day of our wedding on 1st August 2022. It was such a pleasure working with you, we'll miss catching up with you! We had such a fantastic two days celebrating our wedding at Cloughjordan House. Everything was perfect! The night prior in the Distillery Cottage was so lovely, the setup is such a beautiful spot to spend the evening prior and morning of the wedding getting ready. Everything the morning of the wedding ran so smoothly thanks to you and the team, from Stephen helping to move my Mums car so she could get in out of the rain, all the staff lined up with umbrellas helping me and the bridesmaids across to the ceremony, including the impeccable timing from you and Chloe counting down on the walkie talkies, it never felt stressful but also so well organised. Jimmy was fantastic, helping Michael learn how to drive the quirks of the Beetle, and saved the day when we couldn't get it into reverse at the pub, along with driving the bridal party around for photo's and jump starting my uncle's car, he was a superstar!
All of the staff were so friendly, professional and didn't miss a beat. All our guests commented on how great they were and how obliging they were. We really appreciated it when one of the girls came over to Michael and I with canapes when we returned from doing photos, to make sure we had something to eat. Having awesome people makes a huge impact on the overall experience of the day (two days).
The food was amazing both days, all our guests were talking about it, the pistachio tart was a crowd favourite. We're so glad we picked Cloughjordan House for our special day, not only is it a stunning venue, with incredible people running it, the vibe was the perfect balance of being relaxed and enjoyable but everything done to such a high standard.

Absolutely the most beautiful venue. It was seriously a fairytale. So romantic and beautiful. The staff was very accommodating. I have a lot of dietary needs and they accommodated them all. Speaking of food, the food was OH MY GOSH. Amazing!! I came to Cloughjordan House from Texas, had my wedding weekend for 60 people sight unseen and I would not change it for anything. It was better than the photos. Highly recommend for a destination wedding.

What a magical, whimsical, romantic place Cloughjordan House is!
We got married there this past March & we are still raving about it (as are our guests who ate, drank, slept, danced, played the piano, drank in the local pub, chilled in the hot tub, etc.) It is ran by the loveliest people who are authentic and grounded - it’s their home & they make you feel incredibly welcome. They also have a fantastic planning too and process that honestly made the whole wedding planning experience an absolute dream! So easy, so fun, zero stress. We chose Cloughjordan House for our wedding venue based on the lovely relaxed vibe we got on our first viewing, and the feedback we got from others on the food. And to say we weren’t disappointed in either regard would be a massive under statement! We had the best day of our lives, made all the more special by this amazing venue and it’s staff. The food was incredible, so many of our guests have contacted us since to say how impressed they were with it! I couldn’t recommend Cloughjordan House highly enough to any couple searching for the perfect wedding venue. Thank you again for everything!

We celebrated our wedding over the bank holiday weekend (Oct) there with 40 guests for dinner on Fri, 120 guests for the wedding on Sat and another 80 for a BBQ on Sun. Each and every single guest said how amazing this venue and the staff was. The food itself is just delicious from breakfast to canapés and dinner and it suited vegetarians, coeliacs and carnivores.
We now booked us in for a cookery course in Feb just to be able to come back and stay for another night.
If your looking for a quirky, exclusive, food loving place that comes with a wedding planner (Jessica) to look after you for your wedding then don’t search any further.
Thanks to Sarah, Peter and all their staff who were looking after us. We had the absolute best time celebrating this important event in our lives.

Every single one of the staff at CJH was just incredible and went above and beyond for us and our guests over the course of our wedding. The venue itself, food and accommodation were all deeelicious!! We had a wedding party of 100 and the venue accommodated us perfectly - most of our guests could stay at the venue if they wanted to and the dance floor was full (it was the perfect size, not too big, not too small). The venue usually accommodates bigger numbers but it was perfect for our smaller wedding too. So many of our guests commented on the lovely relaxed atmosphere at Cloughjordan and it was all down to the amazing organisation, hospitality and good vibes from all of the staff there...
All we had to worry about was turning up and enjoying ourselves! So thank you again to everyone at CJH for allowing us to enjoy every minute of our wedding and for all of the extra little touches that made our weekend extra special. Best venue for miles - oh also my husband is a Dub and I'm from Meath so we have no ties to Tipperary but we were won over by Cloughjordan from the minute we laid eyes on it - go see it and meet the lovely people!! You won't be let down. The venue itself is even more beautiful in person.

We had the most enjoyable time at Cloughjordan house for our Wedding in September. The venue was amazing, with a lovely chilled out atmosphere. The food and staff were second to none & everyone really went out of their way to make our guests feel right at home. We stayed for 2 days, it was brilliant. I would love to do it all again.

Everyone at CJH were so amazing and accommodating in the lead up and on our wedding day. We held our festivities over 2 days over a weekend, and every single one of our guests, young and old, Irish and from overseas couldn't say enough good things about CJH. The food was divine and the location is incredible. Couldn't have wished for a better place to have gotten married. This place is just made for making happy memories!

Cloughjordan House is absolutely outstanding in every way. We got married there last week. Our ceremony was in the beautiful woodshed. The venue, staff, food and accommodation are all equally fantastic. Jessica is the most memorable person I have had the pleasure to deal with professionally and also on a personal level. All the staff were brilliant, attentive and most importantly genuine. The food was simply the best! Sarah and Peter were so welcoming. Our wedding was incredibly special and celebrating it in Cloughjordan House with the wonderful staff and fantastic food made the day absolutely perfect.

The food was beautiful and the entire team couldn't have been more helpful or friendly from the first moment we met them. We recently held our wedding at Cloughjordan House and we cannot stop smiling and telling everyone about how fantastic our day was. From the moment we first discovered this stunning venue just over a year ago we both fell in love with it and knew it was the perfect fit for us. All our guests were overwhelmed by the quirky, relaxed atmosphere and outstanding food, and many have commented that it was the best wedding they’ve ever attended. We got married in the amazing woodshed on a crisp January afternoon, followed by a wonderful drinks reception in the ballroom and dinner in the marquee.
Jessica the wedding coordinator was wonderfully helpful from the very start and all through the planning process. As we both live abroad we relied heavily on her suggestions for vendors and entertainment, and everything from the harpist, our amazing band, cake maker and DJ were absolutely perfect. Peter and Sarah who own the venue were also incredibly welcoming from our first visit right through until we left the day after the wedding itself. We have planted a tree in the grounds and look forward to returning regularly to visit it and all the wonderful staff here.
This really is a first class, incredibly classy venue and any wedding here is sure to be out of this world
